FreeTylor & the Train Robbers
When asked why they keep going, especially after a year like 2020, Tylor Ketchum frontman and songwriter for the band Tylor and the Train Robbers replies, “Making music is just what we do. It’s what we love and we’ve committed our lives to it and we’ll keep making records, writing songs and touring for as long as we can.” That’s exactly what Tylor & the Train Robbers are known for. Since their official formation in 2014 the Train Robbers lyric-driven blend of roots country and modern Americana has landed them as a favorite among audiences across the country. They’ve remained an independent band and have made a habit of spending more time on the road than off, playing 200+ shows per year and venturing further and further from their home base in Boise, Idaho.
Hooks & The Huckleberries
Hooks & The Huckleberries deliver a powerful blend of country rock and soul music. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and founded in 2020 by singer Adam Hooks and guitarist Joshua Lee, the Huckleberries have quickly established a reputation for high-energy shows and hard work on and off the road. Rounded out by the Bonham-esque drumming of Dustin Hoag and passionate bass playing of Ryan Martino, the band immediately connects with fans at venues from road-side honky-tonks to downtown rock clubs.
Their debut album, “So Far Gone,” released in 2021, has received regional and national acclaim. Driven by Hooks’ lyrical prowess and Lee’s blend of roots guitar styles, the album takes listeners on an adventure born out of the blue skies and grit of New Mexico. Organic, emotive, and full of natural chemistry, Hooks & The Huckleberries deliver a style we call “High Desert Country Music.”
